CC Fann Book Affair Presents The 'Triple Threat'

Three New York Times bestselling authors will appear on Oct. 16 at the Macon Mall. Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus, co-authors of three New York Times bestselling novels and a hit Hollywood film will join Mary Monroe at the mall, where they will make short presentations and sign their latest novels.

CC Fann has organized several successful book fairs in Dublin, Ga., and now brings her winning formula to Macon for the first time. "As always, the mission of my book fairs is to give emerging and self-published authors an opportunity to sell books and to get much needed exposure to the book-buying public," said Fann, owner of JABS Publications.

The book fair is a two-day event that begins at the Dublin Mall on Oct. 16, from 4pm to 9pm. It moves the next day to the Macon Mall for an all-day book affair that beginning at 11am and continues until 9pm. In addition to the three headline authors, the Macon venue of the book fair features workshops, children story time and opportunities to meet dozens of local emerging authors representing a wide variety of genres.

In 1985, St. Martin's Press published Monroe's first novel, The Upper Room. But success was not an easy road. Monroe recalls that she "endured 15 years and hundreds of more rejection letters" before she found a publisher for her second novel. Under her ongoing partnership with Kensington Books, Monroe landed on the New York Times bestseller list in 2007 with the publication of God Don't Play--her seventh novel. Since then, she has published several other successful books and has established a loyal readership.

McLaughlin and Kraus scored another hit with the recent publication of Nanny Returns, a sequel to their runaway bestseller, The Nanny Diaries. In 2007, Scarlett Johansson starred in a movie based on the book.

In addition to their ongoing collaboration on novels, McLaughlin and Kraus also write for popular magazines and have appeared numerous times on CNN, Today, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight and the View. They are currently working on a romantic comedy for Paramount Pictures.

The authors are available for interviews, and you will find images of the authors and their book covers attached to this press release.
