The Georgia Informer's

Georgia's 50 Most Influential Women For 2007

Elisabeth Omilami

President/CEO of Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless

Daughter of the great Hosea Williams, when Elisabeth's father passed away in 2006, she was left holding the bag, so to speak.  Since that time, this lady with the big heart, has turned "Holiday Feasts" that once fed 100 people on Sundays into an event that feeds over 15,000 people each holiday at Turner Stadium.  Not only that, this actress and humanitarian started a Day Center that provides rent and utility assistance, housing deposits, clothing, furniture, and toiletry, Job Skills training, and a Traditional Housing Program.  The legacy of love that Hosea left behind has soared to greater and greater heights over the years through his daughter, Elisabeth, and the many ways in which she helps people every single day are far too numerous to list here.
