
Margaret DeFrancisco
President/CEO of the Georgia Lottery
Corporation
In 2004, Margaret became the second
President/CEO in the Georgia Lottery Corporation's history.
She joined the Georgia Lottery after serving as Director of the New
York State Lottery, a tenure during which the New York Lottery led
the nation in sales and profits, making it the largest lottery in
North America. Prior to joining the lottery industry, she was
appointed Executive Deputy Commissioner of the New York State
Department of Motor Vehicles, and in 1993, she was elected Monroe
County (NY) clerk. Before entering government service,
Margaret spent 12 years as owner of a commercial printing company
located in Rochester, New York.
