Monica Kaufman WSB-TV Anchor
Monica Kaufman was the first African American AND the first woman to become News Anchor in the Atlanta area and has been with WSB-TV since she achieved this in 1975. She has held the position longer than any other TV personality in Atlanta and longer than most women in the country. She is most known for her occasional TV specials, such as "Monica Kaufman's Close-Ups," that feature in-depth interviews with national celebrities and world leaders.
