“Together we have fully funded law enforcement, enacted historic property tax relief and created a fiscally sound Macon-Bibb County that is focused on job creation and improving quality of life and opportunity for generations to come. We are creating a stronger, safer community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, and that work must continue,” Miller said.

His leadership brings people together from all walks of life to find solutions for the issues facing our community. Under Mayor Miller’s leadership, Macon-Bibb earned a statewide Visionary City Award from the Georgia Municipal Association, citing the creation of Brookdale Resource Center as an example of innovative problem solving and teamwork.

“We have accomplished many of the goals we set out when I became Mayor, but there is more work to be done. That is why, today, I announce my intention to run for reelection,” said Miller. “No one of us can do it alone, but by working together, as a team, we are achieving our shared goals. Our accomplishments, and the opportunities that remain, belong to us all,” stated Miller at his announcement.

Macon-Bibb County will hold its elections for Mayor and Commission in the primary election of 2024.
